Confident, Invincible and Protected

Three bronze sculptures exploring the relationship between identity, vulnerability and the ways we present and protect ourselves.

Rooted in Magnussen’s distinctive visual language, the works give physical form to different emotional states. Through exaggerated proportions, expressive figures and carefully considered surfaces, the sculptures move between strength and fragility, confidence and uncertainty.

Produced in limited editions of 11, each sculpture is cast in bronze and finished in its own patina, giving the three works individual identities while maintaining a shared sculptural language.

The sculptures are part of Edition Solenne’s programme of limited works developed directly with contemporary artists.
