Collector Guide
How to discover, enquire, acquire and receive works from Edition Solenne, with clarity at every step.
01
Discover
Browse works by artist, availability or medium. Each work page carries full material, edition and provenance detail.
02
Enquire
Request an invoice, a price on request, or a shipping quote. Our team responds personally, usually within two business days.
03
Acquire
Purchasable works check out securely through Shopify. Inquiry-only and price-on-request works are invoiced directly.
04
Receive
Works are crated, insured and delivered with specialist handling. A signed certificate of authenticity accompanies each piece.
Understanding editions
An edition is not a reproduction. It is made with the artist's involvement, produced to a fixed number, and authenticated.
Edition
An authorised work produced in a declared number, usually from a mould, matrix, model or repeatable process developed with the artist. It is not an unauthorised copy.
Edition size
The total number of numbered works in an edition. It is fixed before release and never increased.
Edition number
The number identifying your work within the declared edition, for example 4/25. Unless expressly stated, it does not necessarily describe the order in which individual examples were produced. It is recorded on the work, the certificate and, after purchase, in your collector record.
Artist's proofs (AP / PP)
Artist's proofs sit outside the numbered edition. Their number varies by project and is stated on the work page and on the certificate.
Timed editions
Some works are open for a fixed window; the final edition size is set by how many are reserved before the window closes.
Hand-finished editions
Editions the artist works into individually, so no two are identical; a bridge between an edition and a unique work.
Certificate of authenticity
A signed certificate confirming artist, title, year, material and edition number, the document that establishes provenance for your collection.
