Shipping, Delivery & Returns

How works are packed and delivered, what lead times to expect, and how cancellation, withdrawal and damage claims are handled.

Packing & handling

Works are packed according to the work's material, dimensions and transport requirements, using custom crates and specialist art handlers where necessary. Smaller bronze and glass works usually travel in fitted boxes; larger stone and wall-mounted works travel crated.

Transport is insured to the invoiced value from the moment the work leaves our care until delivery at the agreed address.

Rates, duties & taxes

For works purchasable online, shipping is calculated at checkout. Import duties and taxes outside the EU are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the checkout total unless stated.

Larger, heavier or fragile works require a delivery quote before purchase. Request one and we will price packing, transport and, where relevant, installation to your address.

Lead times

Some works ship from stock in Copenhagen; others are produced to order, in which case the lead time is stated on the work page. Bronze and stone editions produced to order commonly take eight to ten weeks, and we confirm the expected date in writing before you commit.

You receive tracking and delivery updates once the work is dispatched.

Delivery & installation

Delivery and placement with art handlers can be arranged for larger works. Tell us your location, floor, access and any installation requirements when you enquire and we will include it in the quote.

Risk passes to the buyer on delivery at the agreed address. Please inspect the work on arrival and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.

Cancellation & withdrawal

Consumers in the EU have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving a work purchased online. To use it, notify us in writing within that period and return the work unused, in its original packing. Return transport is arranged by us at the buyer's cost unless the work was faulty or misdescribed.

Works produced to your specification, or made to order with individual choices, may fall outside the statutory withdrawal right under Danish and EU consumer law. Where that applies, it is stated in writing on the invoice before payment, and an order can still be cancelled without cost before production begins.

Acquisitions by businesses and institutions are governed by the terms of sale rather than consumer withdrawal rules.

Damage claims

If a work arrives damaged, contact us within seven days of delivery with photographs of the work and the packing. We handle the insurance claim and arrange repair, replacement from the edition where possible, or a refund.

Please keep the original packing until the claim is resolved.

Certificate & authentication

Each work ships with a certificate signed and numbered by the artist and the publisher, confirming artist, title, year, material and edition number.

An edition is an authorised work produced in a declared number, usually from a mould, matrix, model or repeatable process developed with the artist. It is not an unauthorised copy.

We respond within two working days.
