Kaare Sebastian Golles studied architecture at the Aarhus School of Architecture (BA, 2011) before completing an MFA at Malmö Art Academy (2014) under Professor Haegue Yang. His sculpture and installation practice explores the tension between nature and culture, probing what lies beneath the "civilized surface" of contemporary life.
He is the founder of PINTO PROJECT, an independent project space and publication platform in Copenhagen. His work has been presented at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, Kunsthal Nord, Volta (Basel) and Galleri Nicolai Wallner, and he created a permanent public monument for the poet Inger Christensen in Copenhagen (2021).
